A normal bathroom takes three to five weeks. The schedule is driven by drying times and inspection, not by how fast we can work.
Week 1 — strip-out and pipework
Every old surface comes off down to the structural substrate. If the pipes are old, this is when they are replaced, while the walls are open anyway.
Weeks 2–3 — waterproofing and drying
The floor is laid to fall towards the drain, the waterproof membrane is rolled on in two coats, and it must dry before tiling starts. It cannot be rushed.
Weeks 4–5 — tiling and fit-out
Wall and floor tiles go on, then grouting and silicone. Sanitaryware, taps and electrics are fitted last.
We always issue a wet-room certificate. Without it your insurance will not cover a water escape.
